Disaster Recovery Design Engineer/Architect, backup/storage engineer (UNIX-Solaris/Linux/SAN/NAS/Perl)

With a strong track record designing implementing and managing robust backup solutions within a UNIX environment (Solaris/ Linux - Sun Sparc), ideally around Netapp SAN/NAS solutions.

Candidate is required to design global backup and recovery solution for a global, niche financial services organisation. This solution is required across 5 countries, 100s servers <1000's users.

The ideal candidate will be well versed in scripting inc C/ shell and also Perl.

The organisation has looked at a number of commercial solutions currently so your role would be go in and advise design and implement the solution with some administration work until delivered.
